Australia Day Weekend

It is shaping up to be a big weekend in Tyalgum next weekend!

Friday night, local silversmith Kirra Springs of Osiris Jewellery is kicking off the long weekend with a Champagne Soiree from 5:30pm – 6:30, to launch her new, limited edition jewellery collection, as well as celebrate the registration of her Maker’s Marks with the GSGA. To RSVP phone 0499 747 473.

The event will lead into Flutterbucks Pizza Night just down the road, in the heart of Flutterbies Cottage Cafe, where you can enjoy great pizza, wonderful live music and a glass of wine or cocktail with your meal. For bookings phone (02) 6679 3221.

Saturday brings the Tyalgum Village Markets, hosted right here in the grounds of Celestial Dew gardens, where you can wander amongst fabulous locally made, handmade crafts, wares and gourmet goodies, as well as enjoy more live music in the back gardens. If you would like to have a stall on the day, phone 0416 019 757.

On Sunday, Tyalgum bursts into our annual Australia Day celebrations, with a whole schedule of events, including the Annual Street Parade, the Cycling Race, the Australia vs India cricket match (weather permitting) and much more.

Australia Day is also local cafe Flutterbies birthday, and there will be great Australia Day specials and festivity happening at the cafe as part of the weekend celebrations. For bookings phone (02) 6679 3221.
